Description

The Robins Rubi-Surf 1.7 is a CNC surfacing machine designed for precision machining of cylinder heads and engine blocks in racing and performance engine shops. It features a 360 mm cutterhead, RubiSmart touchscreen control, and programmable single-pass or multi-pass cycles for consistent material removal and accurate surface finishes. An AC-servo vertical feed system, variable spindle speed, and adjustable feed rates allow the operator to control surface quality for cast iron and aluminum applications. Turcite-coated slideways, load monitoring, and a central lubrication system ensure durability, stability, and repeatable machining performance.
